This policy describes the current offline version of Yún, a Slowdash app. Contact sumner@slowdash.com with privacy questions.

What stays on your device

Your notes, saved passages, reading position, and preferences are stored locally. Yún does not require an account and does not send this reading data to a Yún server. The current app has no cloud sync, advertising, or remote app analytics.

Reading and breathing

The books, commentary, breathing guidance, and nature sounds are bundled with the app. Reading and breathing work offline. The app does not record your microphone. AI-assisted commentary is prepared in advance; your notes and reading are not sent to an AI service.

Optional reminders

Reminders are scheduled locally through iOS with your permission. You can turn them off in the app or in iOS Settings. Yún does not register a remote push token or send your reading history to a notification service.

Sharing, email, and external links

When you choose to share, the receiving app handles the material under its own privacy policy. Contacting support opens your email app. We receive the email address and information you choose to send and use them to respond to your request. Avoid sending sensitive information that is not needed for support.

External links open third-party websites. This website’s hosting provider may process technical request information, such as your IP address and browser details, to deliver and protect the site. The page itself adds no analytics scripts, advertising, tracking cookies, or contact forms.

Backups and deletion

Deleting Yún removes its local app data, subject to backups you or Apple manage. There is no Yún server account to delete. You can request deletion of support correspondence by contacting us, subject to any records we must retain for legal obligations.

Apple services

Apple may process App Store, device diagnostic, and TestFlight information according to your settings and Apple’s privacy policy. This is separate from Yún’s own data handling.

Changes

We will update this page if the app’s data handling changes. Any future connected features will need an updated privacy explanation.
